Cherie was born and raised in Brisbane, Australia. She moved to Canada in 2003 and to Golden in 2019. She fell in love with living in the mountains and all mountain life has to offer. Her goal is to get you back on your feet so that you can continue enjoying your favourite activities. She will provide you with an individualized treatment that focuses on your needs on that day. 

She has completed a Bachelor of Science, majoring in Psychology and worked in the Human Resources field for many years. She played team sports all her life, some at representative level and spent time recovering from sports injuries. She discovered that she has a passion for helping others and decided to return to school to study massage therapy in 2010. Since then, she has worked in Banff, Canmore and Golden, at chiropractic clinics and backcountry heliski and cat skiing lodges. She is registered to practice massage therapy in British Columbia and can provide insurance receipts and direct billing for your treatment.

Cherie has also recently completed a Diploma of Osteopathic Manual Practice. She offers manual osteopathic therapy as a stand alone treatment or as a combination with massage therapy. She will use myofascial release, osteoarticulations, craniosacral and visceral therapies during your treatment. She is also offering Bioflex laser therapy treatments - these treatments accelerate healing, are safe, have no side effects, are pain free and have very few contraindications.
