Lisa is thrilled to bring Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy (BCST) to the Golden Wellness Hub. This unique approach is rooted in the belief that the body has innate wisdom of its own health and is designed to find and return to balance and equilibrium.  Living life with two busy children, Lisa is no stranger to the demands of daily life, the mental burden we carry and the stress that impacts each and every one of us.  Having taught yoga for 20+ years, she’s been part of and witnessed a growing desire among people to embody more calm, ease, and health.  Discovering BCST has given her the ability to handle stress more effectively and heal from injuries from decades ago.  She is so eager to share this modality with the community of Golden!

Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy beautifully synthesizes her journey and passion for learning about the body and what it means to be human. It began with a kinesiology degree, giving her a deep understanding of anatomy and physiology. While foundational, this knowledge paralleled her yogic path and felt incomplete without including mind and spirit. Her Holistic Health and Shiatsu Practitioner certification on Vancouver Island furthered her education in energy healing and the body’s ability to find balance with support from a skilled therapist. Lisa continues to apply her learning as a yoga instructor, emphasizing holistic mind-body connections and the experience of deep embodiment.

Throughout her journey to BCST certification, she has benefited greatly from this non-invasive therapy. With over two decades of yoga instruction, she considered herself body-aware; yet in 18 months of BCST training, she was surprised to find deep-seated tension remaining. Many related to mountain biking injuries she thought were healed. Through the BCST sessions Lisa received, she not only released this tension but also freed energy held for over 20 years.

As a mother of two, Lisa is passionate about supporting moms and babies and addressing issues arising from the birthing process. Her healing practices can support both mom/caregiver and babe and help with digestive discomfort, sleep disruptions, and feeding challenges.

Lisa looks forward to supporting your body’s natural healing as she provides the touch and environment it needs to restore itself.
